State National Bank and Compass Bank
Frequently Asked Questions
for Businesses
Below are answers to some of the major questions clients often ask:
Q. Will my State National Bank business accounts remain the same?
A. We converted your State National Bank business accounts to the Compass business accounts closest to the ones you had. See your Guide to Compass Accounts and Services (PDF) for complete information on your specific accounts. In most cases, you'll enjoy all the same features and services with some enhanced benefits. Complete information was mailed to you in advance.
Q. Can I keep my State National Bank account number and checks?
A. Account numbers for most business deposit accounts remained the same. If you have one of the few accounts for which a number changed, you were sent your new account number separately. All customers can continue to use their existing checks until there is a need to reorder, even if your account number changed.
Q. Can I bank at Compass branches now?
A. Absolutely. And be sure to review our branch locator to find the most convenient location near you.
Q. Now that my accounts have transfered to Compass will they continue to be FDIC-insured?
A. Yes, your deposit accounts at Compass will continue to be FDIC-insured to the maximum amount allowed by law. For more information about larger deposits and FDIC insurance, visit your local branch or call the FDIC customer information line at 1-877-275-3342.
Q. I have a State National Bank business loan and/or line of credit account. What do I need to do?
A. Continue to make your payments just as you do today. You will be notified of any changes to your account number or payment address. The terms of your loan will remain the same.
